We are please to announce the Premise and Facilities Operation Manual with the 2026 updated Standard and Criteria. This operation manual supports you to update your current policies, procedures and processes and align them with the updated Criteria and guidance. We have a guide for you to adapt to your centre. The changes come into force on 20 April 2026.

We have a clear guide for you to follow as with our other resources, yellow highlighted text is advice and guidance and green highlight is where you need to describe what you do in your centre. The document is formatted in Word and should reduce the workload for you.

Our operation manuals are formatted in a way that regulatory agencies can see easily how you are meeting the Criteria in practice. We ask you to include photos and use bullet points to reduce the amount of writing needed. Photos provide good evidence and bring your procedures and practices to life.

One procedure is required for the Premise and Facilities Standard and that is for PF121 Washing Sick and Soiled Children, this is included for you to adapt to your centre.

This operation manual is helpful to induct new staff, student teachers, and it gives you confidence that you know you are meeting all the criteria. Our documents are easy to update and have a consistent format.

If any changes to guidance occur we will update our manual and send all those who have purchased this document the amended operations manual.
