The Budget & Financial Planning Tool helps governance and management prepare their annual budget using Ministry of Education funding rates. In terms of creating a budget this tool enables you to predict the revenue from bulk funding, equity and targeted funding (if eligible), WINZ, and parent fees.

Calculation worksheets for child enrolled hours, salaries and wages including employer contributions to Kiwi Saver; and a worst case scenario calculation for reliever costs (not all worksheet images are shown). This tool also helps you plan for maintaining and replacing your learning resources.

We believe this tool will help governance and management strengthen their financial literacy and understanding of revenue, expenditure and plan for their viability and sustainability in the current financial climate.
